My Clients
Below details some of the projects I have supported clients with. My passion is in providing affordable and flexible support to small businesses and charities, and I take pride in being able to meet a range of their needs to help them grow their business to the next level.
Some clients come to me knowing exactly what they need, but for most it starts with a free discovery session, either in person in the Scottish Borders and Edinburgh, or over zoom, where we will chat for an hour about your business goals, and what you need to achieve them.
Ruby & Pearl Cake Art
Ruby and Pearl Cake Art came to me through a discovery session. We initially worked on a large variety of things including; print marketing, SEO and analytics, admin procedures, logo/branding tweaks, Google Business, policies and accounting procedures/software. I also provided some in person assistance at events, and assisted explored the use of QR code signage at events.

We then moved onto a full website redesign and rebuild project, moving her current website from Squarespace to Wix with a full redesign, including new contact forms to manage her enquiries.

Nurture the Borders
Nurture the Borders is a charity based in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders. I supported Nurture to grow through funding applications to both National and small grants organisations, and through maximising their use of Podio to manage an outreach team of staff and volunteers; including shared calendar management and utilising apps within Podio. I also supported with volunteer recruitment and training, events and raising awareness of the charity's work through social media. A main factor in allowing Nurture to grow was securing premises for the charity, and operationally ensuring this was ready to go.

I then went onto work on a Communications Strategy, and subsequent yearly and monthly communications planning; including taking on social media content creation and scheduling and creating supportive print marketing.

Cakes by Kirsten
Kirsten came to me looking for a website for her occasion cake business. She was running her business mainly from social media, and didn't have an existing website. I designed and built a bespoke website on Wix, including the creation of terms and conditions and a privacy policy.

I have also assisted Kirsten with ongoing SEO, coaching and advice, Google Business registration and exploring new logos and branding.

One Step Borders
One Step Borders are a youth mental health charity based in the Scottish Borders. They came to me via a discovery session, however it was decided that one of their main issues was their website. The messaging was not clear, it was not well branded and it was complicated and difficult to manage. I redesigned their site, making it much more professional and clear.

I also wrote and designed an overall strategy for One Step, clearly breaking down their aims and objectives, and their communication principles to ensure everyone involved with the organisation had clear direction and were on the same page.

I then will be continuing to upgrade their social media presence to be simple and on brand; and will go on to look at yearly and monthly communications planning.

Boob Bling
Boob Bling are a small Edinburgh based keepsake jewellery company. They came to me with issues around their Search Engine Optimisation and it's current impact on sales.
I provided a full SEO review, and gave recommendations on how they could improve their website, within the constraints of their current system, and recommendations for the future, should they choose to move to a different provider.

I also registered them for Google Business, to boost their brand visibility.

Nil By Mouth
Nil by Mouth are Scotland's leading anti-sectarianism charity. They came to me as they had an outdated and hard to manage website, built by a volunteer but needed something more professional and easy to manage.

I designed and built a site on Wix and transferred over a large amount of content from their old site.

I have then continued to publish blog posts on a monthly package, and have helped with other tasks such as digital marketing for campaigns when needed.
